Kara is excited to be joining Musical Mysteries & More for Indiana Smith and the Restaurant of Doom! She has spent most of her last year in Columbus, OH and is celebrating the chance to branch out and perform again. Some of her favorite recent credits include: MATILDA (Mrs. Wormwood), THE WEDDING SINGER (Julia Sullivan), REEFER MADNESS (Mary Lane). She hopes to move to NYC before the end of this year! 

FUN FACTS about Kara

  • Kara is quite talented at playing Mrs. Pacman

  • She has a pet cat named Winston; Winnie for short

  • When traveling, Kara tries to always stay in Hostels instead of Hotels 

Steven Macropoulos

Steven Makropoulos is an actor/musician from Astoria, New York. He’s performed in regional theaters across the country, appearing in Guys and Dolls (Axelrod Performing Arts Center), Million Dollar Quartet, Fun home (Millbrook Playhouse), South Pacific (Texas Family Musicals) and more. T.V.: Serial Killer Terry Hyatt in Investigation Discover’s Homocide City: Charlotte. Steven is currently writing and producing his own short films.

FUN FACTS about Steven

  • He can crack virtually any joint in his body

  • He was crowned the “Limbo King” while on vacation in Montego Bay, Jamaica

Thea Kraus

Thea Kraus recently graduated from LIU Post with a BFA in Theatre. She loves making people laugh and cannot wait to make you do the same! One of her most notable roles was R.P. McMurphy in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. 

FUN FACTS about Thea

  • She crochets earrings (and other stuff, but earrings are the most impressive)

  • She can walk on stilts and was the best stilt walker in 5th grade

  • Thea is immune to spice and is always looking for something that will actually be spicy enough to her!

Joe Cannito

Joe has been a professional actor for over 30 years performing touring shows, cruise lines, musicals and especially dinner theater, which he loves with a passion.  Why else would he have founded Musical Mysteries & More?

FUN FACTS about Joe

  • Hiring younger performers since 2016, he has currently lived in Pittsburgh longer than most of them have been alive

  • He enjoys writing comedic mystery shows and currently has over 20 shows to his credit

  • He someday hopes only to direct, but somehow they keep pulling him back in
